Fraud Solution Profile

Elephant is a recent spin-off of Pipl. Pipl has been in the identity space for almost 20 years. We work with companies all over the world such as marketplaces, payment companies, retailers, and government agencies.  They use our Search product to get raw data on people, mostly for Manual Review and other types of investigations. 

 

That said, we’ve gotten requests from our customers to help them improve their Automated Decisioning & their Fraud Models (not just help with Manual Review and investigations). This is why we launched our Trust product, which is now under our Elephant brand.

 

Trust leverages our proprietary AI, and the information we’ve collected on over 5 billion identities, as well as dark web data to quickly and affordably tell you if an identity is trustworthy, without creating any additional friction to your users.

 

It’s an API-based solution. It also comes with a Console where you can calibrate your own scoring model, conduct tests, and review results, and it also has a complementary Insights UI if you have a Manual Review team

 

In terms of scores we provide 3 types:

  1. A Trust score that measures the trust of the entire action
  2. Subset scores that measure the trust of a given data type (ex. Email, Phone, IP, etc.)
  3. Connectivity scores that measure the strength between 2 data types (ex. Email & Phone)
